Follow the prompts to download and install Box Sync. Select Get Box Sync from the drop-down list. Click the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Box screen in your browser. This is especially useful for files you wish to be able to access offline and/or work on frequently. The Sync feature for William & Mary Box allows you to easily sync files between your desktop and other devices. Use Firefox, IE, or Safari for better performance. 
Note: We have found that Box Edit may be problematic on the Chrome web browser. Your edits will be saved to the original Box document.
When done editing, close the file and click Save when prompted. The changes to the file will be reflected in Box. Edit the file as you would any other file. The file will open in its native application in a new window. Click the "Open with Word" button on the top-right corner of the screen.
